Multi-Day Charter

Two Ways to Experience Catalina with Overkill

There are two distinct ways to make Catalina part of your charter—each designed around how you want to spend your time.

The Classic Cruise

Depart Channel Islands Harbor and cross the Santa Barbara Channel the way it was meant to be done—on your own private 75-foot yacht. Spend the day scanning the horizon for whales and dolphins, dropping a line in the water, relaxing in the bow jacuzzi, enjoying music, cocktails, and great food as the coastline fades behind you.

The seven-hour passage to Catalina becomes part of the experience itself—open water, deep blue horizon, and uninterrupted time with your group. Arrive in Avalon ready to settle in for the weekend, then cruise back Sunday with a final day at sea to close out the charter.

For those who appreciate the journey as much as the destination, this is the full ocean experience.

The Catalina Immersion

If you’d rather maximize your time on the island, we offer a streamlined option.

Guests may travel south to Long Beach—either independently or with our facilitated transport—and take the 45-minute high-speed ferry across the channel. We’ll meet you in Avalon with Overkill already secured on a premium mooring tucked near the Casino, protected from swell and positioned for convenience.

From there, the yacht becomes your private waterfront residence.

Spend your days exactly how you choose: lounging on deck, soaking in the jacuzzi, paddleboarding the harbor, diving, or taking the dinghy ashore to explore. Golf, hike, dine oceanfront, bar hop at night, or simply return to the yacht for chef-prepared meals and quiet evenings under the lights of Avalon.

This option eliminates long transit hours and turns Catalina into your playground—while Overkill serves as your floating home base.

Both experiences deliver something exceptional. The only question is whether you want the voyage… or to arrive and begin immediately.
